Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is offering a 30‑day trial to qualify for an 18‑month Technician Development Program. You will work alongside an experienced technician to learn basic auto body repair, dent removal, sanding, and painting.

Expect hands-on practice, tool use instruction, and safety training. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a strong interest in automotive repair. Wage is hourly, with benefits available upon progression.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for long periods while repairing vehicles.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.
• Good hand coordination for parts handling.
• Strong interest in automotive industry and desire to learn.
• Team player with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under supervision of experienced technicians.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and repair plans.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects within timelines and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
