Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is offering a hands-on development opportunity for aspiring auto body technicians. You will work alongside an experienced technician, learning dent removal, sanding, painting, and more.

This program includes a 30-day trial to qualify for the 18-month Technician Development Program, with mentorship and exposure to various repair tasks and team collaboration. A safe, growth-oriented environment supports your development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade/vocational training preferred.
• Some on-the-job experience preferred.
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under supervision of experienced technicians.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Participate in vehicle inspections and develop repair plans.
• Collaborate with team to complete repair projects on time and to quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean, organized work area.
