Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass offers a hands-on 18-month Technician Development Program starting with a 30-day trial. You will work alongside experienced technicians to learn dent removal, sanding, and painting, while gaining insight into repair planning and safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or trade training, basic auto body knowledge, and a genuine interest in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods and work in a repair environment.
• Willing to learn auto body repair techniques with supervision.
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred indicates advanced training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under supervision.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages.
• Collaborate with the team to complete repairs on time and to standard.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
