Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass offers a hands-on Technician Development Program beginning with a 30-day trial to qualify for an 18-month development track in auto body repair. You will work with experienced technicians and learn dent removal, sanding, and painting while focusing on safety and quality.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED (trade/vocational training preferred) and some related experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; vocational training preferred.
• Some on-the-job experience is preferred.
• I-CAR Gold Class certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under supervision.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and plan repairs.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects within timelines and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work area.
