Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass offers a 30-day trial to qualify for an 18-month Technician Development Program in the auto body repair field. You will work with experienced technicians, learn basic repairs, and develop skills across dent removal, sanding, and painting.

Candidates should be 18+, able to lift 50 pounds, and ready to participate in a structured training path with safety and quality at its core.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Some on-the-job experience is preferred.
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing basic auto body repairs under supervision.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and plan repairs.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects within timelines and standards.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Extend normal hours as needed to meet workload and customer requirements.
