Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, using a range of tools to restore cars to pre-accident condition.

You’ll work with the team to meet KPIs, follow the WOW plan, and provide high-quality results. A high school diploma or equivalent and technical training are expected; opportunities for growth exist within a long‑standing industry leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training is a plus.
• Completion of technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders and specs.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan and plan repair work with cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers for repairs.
• Hammer dents, apply fillers, realign chassis/frames as needed.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; weld and fit parts; repaint as required.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines; inspect finished vehicles.
• Coordinate with team to ensure speed, quality and customer excellence.
