Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while upholding speed, quality and customer‑excellence standards. You will work with teammates to ensure value-driven repairs and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and technical training or an apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of repair methods and use of trade tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and estimate repair work for customers.
• Repair sections using tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair glass and interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory specs; ensure workmanship meets KPIs.
