Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise assessment and quality repair of vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and collaborate with the team to meet repair KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed and excellence.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Uses cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammers out dents and uses filler resins when needed.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replaces or repairs glass and windshields as needed.
• Replaces or repairs interior parts as needed.
• Welds and attaches parts and repaints vehicles per factory specs or equivalents.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspects vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
