Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, realign frames, replace parts and glass, and ensure quality through inspection and teamwork with peers.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical program or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Experience in auto body shop environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis/frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
