Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experiences through precise assessment and high-quality repair work, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while contributing to speed, quality and customer excellence.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Execute repairs using tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Welds, aligns chassis and frames, and replaces parts as needed.
• Prepares and paints vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
