Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver a superior customer experience by meticulously assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, working with the team to meet KPIs and uphold our brand promise of speed, quality and customer excellence.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with automotive repair tools required.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Repair dents and apply filler resins where needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Weld and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paints or equivalents.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
