Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring quality while collaborating with the team to meet KPIs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and either technical school completion or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders with little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods to repair vehicle bodies and use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles and ensure quality.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts, and repaint to specifications.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
