Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while maintaining speed, quality and customer excellence across all team members.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Able to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work with other repairers in an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and proper tool use.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently and accurately.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle bodies.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Repair or replace glass, windshields, and interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts; paint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
