Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to meticulously repair vehicles and restore them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and inspect vehicles to ensure speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using cutting tools, welding, realigning frames, and replacing parts as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent and technical training or an apprenticeship are required.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets job orders with minimal supervision.
• Works with teammates to complete repairs to standard.
• Understands and performs vehicle body repair methods and uses required tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently to deliver quality repairs.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames and replace damaged parts as needed.
• Repair glass, interiors, and repaint with factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete jobs within labor guidelines and inspect finished work.
