Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding the company’s standard of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work that is necessary and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Uses various tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Replaces or repairs glass and windshields as needed.
• Welds and attaches parts into place and prepares and repaints vehicles.
