Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair that restores cars to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with team KPIs and acting as a brand ambassador.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred technical school training or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass/trim as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.
