Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver outstanding customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence across the team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent or completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop and use repair tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair dents with hammers, fillers, and related materials.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass or interior parts.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
