Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, contributing to speed, quality, and customer excellence while aligning with KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador.

Required are a high school diploma (or equivalent) and either technical school completion or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is consistently executed.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using various tools.
• Hammer out dents and repair minor body damage when feasible; apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair glass, windshields, and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and attach parts; prepare and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles post-repair for quality.
