Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Missouri is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair and quality workmanship. You will across the repair process with a focus on speed, quality and customer excellence, aligning with team KPIs and representing the Brand Ambassador role for The Boyd Group.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may require technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates using tools to repair vehicle sections.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new/aftermarket parts and repair/install glass.
• Weld and attach parts and repaint vehicles per factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
