Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experience through meticulous inspection and high-quality repair of vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition. You will work with teammates to meet KPIs and serve as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical training, ability to read job orders, and proficiency with repair tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Strong reading and interpretation of job orders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use tools as listed to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed; realign chassis and frames for structural repair.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repaired vehicles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
