Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and ensure repairs meet KPIs while representing the Brand Ambassador role.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship. Strong tool knowledge and teamwork are essential, with the ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates; use cutting tools to repair sections.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins where needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass or interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
