Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with team KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and may have completed a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship. Strong tool handling and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the WOW plan consistently to ensure quality service.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates using tools for vehicle repair.
• Hammer out dents and apply fillers when needed to repair bodywork.
• Realign chassis and frames to restore structural integrity.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as required.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles with factory paint or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
