Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, replacing damaged sections with parts and repairing glass as needed.

Safety, quality, and timely completion are essential as you collaborate with teammates to meet KPIs and customer expectations. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical schooling or apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Able to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor guidelines and inspect final results.
