Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles with a focus on speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Work with a team to meet KPIs, use cutting tools, weld, replace parts, and repaint to factory specs. A high school diploma or equivalent plus technical training or an apprenticeship is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates using appropriate tools.
• Hammer out dents and imperfections; apply fillers when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair glass; service interior components.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
