Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to enhance customer experience by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will work with a team to ensure speed, quality and exceptional service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship. You will handle disassembly, repairs, reassembly, and final inspection while upholding safety and quality KPIs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies and use of tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates using various tools.
• Repair dents, replace parts and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis/frames and repaint vehicles as needed.
• Inspect completed work and ensure it meets standards.
