Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and care. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, plan repair scopes, and provide accurate customer estimates while collaborating with the shop team to meet KPIs.

The role emphasizes speed, quality, and exceptional customer service. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Use tools to repair vehicle bodies and restore alignment.
• Realign chassis/frames; replace or repair parts and glass.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Ensure work orders meet labor guidelines and inspect post-repair vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
