Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer service through meticulous repair and restoration of vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence in alignment with team goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair vehicle sections using cutting guns, plasma cutters, and hand tools.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins where needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and windshields with new parts.
• Weld, attach, and fit parts; repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect finished vehicles.
