Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to expertly repair vehicles and restore them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, realign frames, and replace damaged parts and glass while maintaining high quality and speed.

You will collaborate with team members to meet KPIs, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. A technical education or apprenticeship is required along with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and renew glass or windshields as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, then repaint vehicles to factory specs.
• Inspect completed work to ensure adherence to standards.
