Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair, restoration to pre-accident condition, and adherence to company standards.

The role requires disassembly, repair, and reassembly of vehicles, collaboration with team members, and commitment to speed, quality, and customer excellence. Training and safety are emphasized in a high-energy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use tools like cutting guns and plasma cutters.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage; replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
