Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is looking for an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, align chassis, and replace parts while maintaining high speed and quality standards.

You will collaborate with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold customer excellence. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a technical program or apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute repair work per the plan and prepare estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair glass/interiors as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; apply factory-specified paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and verify quality.
