Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to expertly assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, delivering a standout customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with KPIs and representing the brand with excellence.

You will work with team members to ensure speed, quality, and customer satisfaction, using a range of tools and applying factory-specified paints or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare estimates for customers.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Welds and fits parts into place and prepares and repaints vehicles.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
