Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician who delivers an exceptional customer experience by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles and work with teammates to meet KPIs while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship required.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld and secure parts; apply paint to factory or equivalent finish.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
• Collaborate with team to achieve KPIs and uphold brand standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
