Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an outstanding customer experience by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding our speed, quality, and customer excellence commitments.

You’ll work with team members to meet KPIs, act as a Brand Ambassador, and perform repairs using a variety of tools. A high school diploma and technical training or apprenticeship are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program completion OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair vehicle bodies using cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers.
• Repair dents and body damage with fillers as needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interiors, and repaint vehicles as required.
