Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to perform precise vehicle body repairs and restore pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and align components to achieve speed, quality, and customer excellence across the shop.

You will work with a team to meet KPIs, follow safety protocols, and serve as a Brand Ambassador. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, plus technical training or an apprenticeship. Attractive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow WOW Operating Way plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates, using tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and repair minor body damage with fillers when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass or repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts into place and paint vehicles per factory specifications.
• Complete work within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
