Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and refinish vehicles, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence in collaboration with the team.

Role requires reading job orders, performing dents repairs, aligning frames, replacing parts, and inspecting final work. Strong safety awareness and ability to lift 30 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repairs safely.

Responsabilités

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents using fillers when necessary and weld/attach parts as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace or repair glass and interior parts.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles with factory or matched paint.
• Inspect completed work for quality and safety; meet labor time guidelines.
