Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair of vehicles to pre-accident condition. The role involves disassembly, repair, and reassembly, aligning frames, replacing damaged sections, glass, and interior parts, and ensuring quality inspection after work.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus either technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of repair methods and how to use trade tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass or interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, prepare and repaint vehicles as needed.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure work quality.
