Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair, ensuring pre-accident condition restoration. You will work with the team to meet KPIs and act as a Brand Ambassador for the company.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and technical training or apprenticeship, with safe handling of tools and adherence to quality standards. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a noisy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prepare and repaint vehicles as required.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
