Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, repairing with various tools, realigning chassis, replacing parts and glass, welding, and painting. A focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair body panels using cutting guns, plasma cutters, and other tools.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and repaint vehicles per factory specs or equivalent.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines.
