Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with other repairers.
• Solid understanding of vehicle body repair methods and procedures.
• Proficiency with tools used in collision repair (as described in duties).

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles following safety and quality standards.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory specifications or approved standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
