Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous inspection and repair of vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while meeting KPIs and upholding our Brand Ambassador promise.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair sections of a vehicle using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts, and repaint vehicles as needed.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and verify quality.
