Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to meticulously assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence while collaborating with teammates and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires completing a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship, with a strong focus on reading job orders and using standard repair tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair, realign, and fit vehicle sections; replace parts and glass as needed.
• Weld, paint, and inspect vehicles to ensure quality repairs.
• Complete work within labor time guidelines; ensure all work is correct.
