Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition with speed and quality. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, replace parts and glass, and ensure workmanship meets company KPIs.

You will work with a team to complete jobs within labor guidelines, using cutting tools and paint processes, while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles with precision.
• Repair dents, realign frames, and replace damaged parts.
• Weld, fit, and repaint to factory specs or approved equivalents.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and safety.
