Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, using a range of shop tools and processes. You will dismantle, repair, reassemble, and inspect cars to ensure quality and speed in service delivery.

The role requires hands-on work with various tools, a focus on safety, and collaboration with teammates to meet KPI targets in a busy collision shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles with appropriate tools.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged parts or glass as needed.
• Weld, fit, and attach components; prep and repaint vehicles per specs.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect completed work.
