Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous vehicle assessment and high-quality repairs, restoring cars to pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign chassis, replace damaged parts and glass, weld and repaint to factory specifications while meeting KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare estimates using various tools.
• Hammer dents and apply fillers as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
