Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair, restoration to pre-accident condition, and alignment with the company's standards of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, work with team members, and contribute to KPIs while representing the Boyd Group as a Brand Ambassador. The role requires safety and attention to detail in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers using tools like cutting guns and plasma cutters.
• Repairs dents and body damage and applies filler resins as needed.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replaces or repairs damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Welds and fits parts and repaints vehicles with factory-specified color.
