Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by expertly repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

You will work with the team to ensure speed, quality and customer excellence while adhering to safety and accuracy standards across all repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers; uses cutting tools and jacks to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins when needed; realigns car chassis and frames.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts; replaces or repairs glass and interior parts.
• Welds and attaches parts; prepares and repaints vehicles with factory-specified paint.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
