Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles after accidents, restoring them to pre-accident condition while upholding our speed, quality and customer-excellence standards. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

You must read job orders, use shop tools, and work with other technicians to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• Must read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods.
• Ability to operate shop tools safely and effectively.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and working in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently and accurately.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair dents, replace parts, weld and repaint as needed.
• Realign frames and chassis; install or repair glass and interior parts.
• Complete work within labor time guidelines and inspect outcomes.
