Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition through precise disassembly, repair, and reassembly. You will contribute to speed, quality, and customer excellence, aligning with KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus either technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship. The role supports a collaborative shop environment with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship is ideal.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods and proper tool use.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration within an auto body shop.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass.
• Weld, paint, and fit parts; ensure work meets time guidelines.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
