Gerber Collision & Glass in Edmond, OK, invites applications for a 30‑day trainee position that starts you on the hands‑on path to our 18‑month Technician Development Program. You will work alongside an experienced technician, observe auto body repairs, and begin learning dent removal, sanding, and paint prep under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, an interest in the automotive trades, basic safety awareness, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade/Vocational school preferred.
• Some on‑the‑job experience preferred.
• I‑CAR Gold Class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing basic auto body repairs, including dent removal, sanding, and painting under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment properly to ensure safety and efficiency in the workplace.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and develop repair plans.
• Collaborate with team members to complete repair projects within specified timelines and quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
