Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass offers a 30-day trial to qualify for an 18-month Technician Development Program, working alongside experienced technicians in auto body repair. This entry path provides hands-on experience, safety training, and exposure to dent removal, sanding, and painting under supervision.

You will learn to inspect vehicles, develop repair plans, and collaborate with teammates to meet timelines and quality standards while following safety protocols in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Some on-the-job experience is preferred
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under supervision.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and repair plans.
• Collaborate with team to complete repair projects within timelines and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
